Debate Ring: Agile vs. Waterfall – Why Traditional Project Management (Doesn't) Have the Upper Hand
Get ready for an intense battle of arguments in the Debate Ring, where opposing views clash, and controversial topics come to life!
The Debate Ring is a new, dynamic, and interactive format that pushes discussions to the limit, delivering unparalleled value to all participants.
Two teams—each composed of three carefully selected professionals—will defend their approach to project management. Throughout the debate, they won’t just present their arguments but will also counter the opposing team’s points and respond to audience questions, creating a lively and engaging discussion that goes deep beneath the surface.
Although the Debate Ring will have a moderator, the final winner will be decided by audience vote. Only one side can claim victory.
So, are you ready for a debate experience like no other?

Vojtěch Gottvald
Vojtěch has been leading digital products since 2013, specializing in team development and project management. Throughout his career, he has learned that excessive rules often stifle creativity, innovation, and confidence in a team’s capabilities. Instead of strict regulations, he prefers an approach based on “recommendations” and “tailoring,” which allows his teams to constantly grow and move towards excellence.
In addition to being the Product Lead Manager for Booking Automation at Kiwi.com, he mentors a wide range of roles – from aspiring team leaders, Czechitas, to business owners, helping them build efficient and flexible work environments.
When he’s not at his desk, you can probably find him paragliding in the air, enjoying the view from above.
